For warranty protection, you must use colors from our approved coating list, which have been tested and verified for optimal performance with ACRE products.
If you'd like to use a color not on our current list, no problem! Simply send us the color specifications for testing and approval. We're happy to evaluate new options to expand your design possibilities while maintaining our quality standards.

APPROVED COLORS LISTS
Choose the perfect color and coating product for your ACRE project by browsing our approved colors lists below. Each list presents a variety of colors from approved paint stores, adhering to our guidelines, ensuring a lasting and beautiful painted finish.
PRO TIP
For the best results, we recommend applying paint, stain or clear coats on a smooth flat surface. ACRE products may be finished after installation, however the viscosity of the coating could result in an uneven appearance if not monitored closely.
ACRE products generally will not gray like natural woods in exterior applications. However, color may fade over time with increased UV exposure, therefore a UV-resistant stain or paint can help resist fading and make for easier cleaning and care.
WHAT IS LIGHT
REFLECTIVE VALUE
The Light Reflective Value is a measure of how much light a color reflects. The scale ranges from 0 to 100, with 0 being absolute black (no light reflected) and 100 being pure white (all light reflected). You can use the chart below for reference.
ACRE for exterior uses like decking, siding, trim and porch floors are constantly exposed to sunlight. When not reflected, light is absorbed as energy and converted to heat. Excessive heat can cause ACRE to expand and contract.
